Executive Team

These individuals oversee all decisions and operations of all of the committees within First Miami. Together the executive team functions as the President and CEO of the credit union.

Dan Krancevic - President & Chief Operating Officer

Year: Senior

Major: Economics

Dan is a senior Economics major and business analytics minor. He has been with the credit union since his freshman year, and has previously served as a teller and the VP of External Relations. Dan joined the credit union to gain leadership experience and to provide Miami students and alumni with the best financial services in Oxford.

Alex Niekamp - Chief Financial Officer

Year: Sophomore

Major: Finance

Alex is a sophomore Finance major here at Miami University and has been working at the credit union since his first semester freshman year. The decision to join the credit union was made easier through the successes that his brother had with the program and the high quality experience that the internship provides. He has been the CFO since February of last year and before that he served as our Vice President of Compliance. In addition to his activities with the credit union, Alex serves on the Business Student Advisory Council of the Farmer School of Business and as an accounting intern for the Department of Zoology.

April Porter - Chief Relations Officer

Year: Junior

Major: Finance

April is a junior marketing major with minors in supply chain management and communications. April got involved with the credit union during second semester of her freshman year and has previously served as the VP of marketing. In her new role as CRO she hopes to continue working on the restructuring of the organization. Upon graduation she would like to work in the marketing field.

Erik Hansen - Chief Audit Officer

Year: Sophomore

Major: Politicial Science

Erik is a Sophomore Political Science Major who got involved in the credit union during his Freshman year. Initially, Erik worked as a teller and was on the External Relations committee for First Miami. During this past summer, Erik worked as one of only two summer interns for the credit union and learned how to do almost all of the day-to-day tasks First Miami encounters, leading him to become a supervisor to start his sophomore year. Erik got involved in the credit union because he wanted to expand his horizons to understand business concepts in addition to what he learns as a Political Science major, and First Miami is the most applicable way to do so. After graduation, Erik hopes to go to law school and eventually work with political parties and elected officials in government.
