Visa Credit Cards

Another excellent service that First Miami is able to provide to all members is access to a VISA credit card. We have found that many students graduate college without an established credit history, which leads to higher interest rates and other hassles when applying for the first car loan or finding a place to rent. Upon arriving at Miami, all members are eligible for our VISA Classic card. The benefits to which are listed below:

 

 

Starting out a $750 credit limit is placed on the card and will increase as time progresses. This is a great way for students to build a good credit history.

Before you order your card, make sure you know the difference between Credit and Debit.

For Graduating Seniors:
Upon graduation, Miami alumni are eligible for an upgrade to either our VISA Platinum or Gold cards. With proof of full-time employment and an excellent credit score, credit limits can be raised up to $5000. Both cards offer the same benefits as  the Classic, except they have even lower 8.9% and 11.9% fixed APRs respectively. Credit Card application forms can be found online, picked up in the office, or mailed upon request.
