Phil Hanwright, a junior biochemistry major, joined First Miami in the fall of 2008 interning as a teller while also serving on the collections and compliance committees. He was later appointed Vice President of Compliance for the 2010 fiscal year where he ensures that the Credit Union is complying with all state and federal regulations. Phil has enjoyed his time with First Miami as it has allowed him to gain practical insight into the business world. Phil also spends time engaging in undergraduate scientific research within Miami’s Biochemistry department and also serves as the Trip Coordinator for Miami’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
