Michael Taulbee
I currently work at AK Steel as an internal auditor. Prior to this position I worked as an auditor for Battelle & Battelle, LLP a certified public accounting firm in Dayton, Ohio. While at Battelle & Battelle I was part of the financial institutions niche group and worked mainly with credit unions and community banks. I was an intern from 1996-2000 during that time I was VP of Operations and was Office Manager for the summer of 2000. Coming out of college and working at a public accounting firm I was able to work directly with financial institutions and I was already familiar with the operations of this types of business based on my experience at First Miami. Also by holding a management position at First Miami I gained valuable communication experience, which prepared me to do similar things in the "real world". My favorite memory was being the summer office manager in 2000. I learned a lot but I also had a lot of fun. My other activites are: - Ohio Society of CPAs, Young CPA Section Leadership Board Member
